`Minnie Mouse for a Day ! *

Just about 2 years ago I worked for an entertainment business as a party entertainer. My duties were to dress up as a clown and do balloon animals* as well as face painting* for children's parties. & the other half of the time I would dress up as a character and play theme related music and dance with them. I went from being Elmo, to Tasha (the backyardigan hippo), to Minnie Mouse, etc. It was an enjoyable experience!

I am a HUGE Disney fan ! & Minnie is just one of my very FAVORITES. *
ME !

My god-daughter & I !

I had to reveal myself .

She was scared at 1st, so I had to show her that it was me. lol Many little ones get scared at first when I would walk in with the costume and it would take some time for them to warm up. LOL You wouldn't think that they would be scared since this is supposed to be a character that they like and have probably seen millions of times on TV.

It's just MINNIE !*

Super Mario 1st Birthday Pool Party !

This Super Mario themed celebration was a huge hit! It was a backyard funfilled pool party.

This is the Birthday Boy !

They were entertained by breathtaking magic show. It had the kids thrilled and entertained ! From petting the cuddly friendly fuzz balls to being in suspense of wondering what will pop out next.

You could tell how much fun they had !

The Super Mario ice cream cake went perfectly with the pool party on this hot summer day !

The kids really enjoyed the pool. There were 3 pools ! One for the little ones, another for the bigger kids, and of course we can't forget one for the adults.

*Faith's Celebration !*

Ok so this is a very SPECIAL party ! It was my babyshower for my gorgeous daughter, Faith ! The theme was brown and pink. This was not your typical babyshower, it was a night event and very classy (just like the momma).
This is Me !

On the "Welcome table" I put a picture of the father to be and I along with a decorated picture album. We put in cardstock sheets with a mother/baby poem on the header for our guests to sign on.

This was my gorgeously delicious cake ! We had 100 cupcakes and a 2 tier cake topper. This cake was pretty interesting, they even included the dad-to-be's beard and our dog Onyx. The top tier was coconut flavor (I loveee coconut) and the bottom tier was red velvet. The cupcakes were a variety of chocolate, vanilla, coconut, and red velvet. It had a very home made taste and it was absolutely delicious !

I made this sign (frame) as a cute way to provide instructions for our guests.

Take a look at my Oh So SWEET Table !

From chocolate dipped marshmallows to gum balls.

Hand made chocolate dipped pretzel rods ! Made by me*.
The sweet table was a success ! Everyone from children to adults was thrilled by my "sweet table." Our guests couldn't wait to dig into these delicious sweets!

It's a Snoopy Party !

I have to admit, I really enjoy parties. Not only because of food, dancing and just the whole idea of partying ! My very favorite part about a party is the amazing decorations* ! Especially if they are unique and very well thought out. =) This is a nicely set up Snoopy themed party I went to about a month ago. Everything from the entrance to the cake was nicely set up and well organized.

This was the first thing you see in the entrance. Snoopy's house was hand made out of cardboard and it was used to put birthday cards and gift cards. The snoopy beanie and the "grass" was the icing on the cake.

This was the main cake. It was shapped like a bone and on top it had snoopy's dog house, bone shapped cookies, and snoopy and friends. Next to the cake there was also a cupcake tier for the children which also had bones on them.

My daughter Faith, having a great time with snoppy and friends in this funfilled Snoopy 1st birthday party!
